As we head into the Lunar New Year this Saturday 10th February, here is some wonderful inspiration for an Orff-style inspired chant that you can use in many wonderful ways in your music classrooms with your students – beat, rhythm, body percussion, movement, recorder, percussion and tuned percussion.

Have fun…our students have loved it this week, exploring movement and voice then finding lots of success playing the rhythm of the chant on their new recorders while half of our class kept the beat on drums and tapping sticks.
